#4 FOLD TRIMMED PAPER IN HALF – folding suggestions, scoring boards are lovely and make cards looks professional, but if you are trying to use household items, grab a smooth pen barrel or butter knife with smooth handle, fold the card as perfect as possible and then, with your smooth edge, press along fold to flatten the crease. Another popular way to fold cardstock is to carefully hand-fold the two sides of the card, holding the card at the edges away from the fold. Place these edges against a ruler to keep them straight and press the fold flat. While this is quicker to do than measuring the card, it will take a little practice to get perfect results.
UPrinting has folded card templates of different sizes and fold types. These free templates will allow you to design folded cards with the correct bleed and margin setup. We have different file types to choose from: Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Publisher, and JPEG. You can fold your cards at any point during the game when it is your turn to act. There are times when you just want to toss your hand in right away after being dealt with less than stellar cards. It’s important you stay calm and be a good sport.
